Great forest hut, idyllic location, good food. What more do you want.

Best outdoor location ever !

The restaurant is very nicely located on the Sippersfelder Weiher. However, it also closes from 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The kitchen is usually closed after 5 p.m. Outside area cordoned off with barrier tape due to Corona. I like that inside but the outside is humbug - there is more than enough space. Otherwise the prices are OK.

Always beautiful. Great food. The fish on Fridays is especially recommended.

Well eaten very friendly service. Large portions and small prices by Dutch standards?

Once again it was very good here ... food was good, weather was good and then the beautiful lake with the great countryside and the water lilies.

Apparently there is a hornet's nest in the immediate vicinity, some of the things fly around the tables. That put us off a little, otherwise great atmosphere right on the pond, pure nature. Eating and drinking 1a, as you know it from country life.

In the middle of the forest, half the outside area is cordoned off with barrier tape due to Corona. OK then! For reasons of hygiene, there are no seat cushions for the wooden benches. Perfect! For the same reason, the salad garnish is omitted when eating ... Yes! The public order office is sure to be delighted here. This is where the hygiene measures are implemented. Food good as usual. Service friendly.

Dear team of the Retzberghütte! After a long bike ride we would have liked to have a cool drink in her hut today. Unfortunately we were rejected because we had no masks with us on our bike tour OUTDOORS (!). Therefore we were not allowed to occupy the free places which were about 3m away. I thought that was a shame !!! I would have liked if they had offered to bring us a drink to the lake shore where we could have enjoyed the beautiful nature without a mask. The public order office will be happy - there is certainly no need to check here, as strictly as the landlord observes the rules, even the public order office may not even take it. A little bit of serenity and common sense would be desirable here!

Today we were in a restaurant for the first time since the Corona crisis. The Retzberghütte is very nice, by a large pond, in the middle of the forest. The service staff were very friendly and courteous without exception. The ordered food and drink came quickly to the table. All dishes were freshly prepared and arranged in a very appealing way. You can't argue about the taste, everything was very tasty. The prices for drinks and food are absolutely fair and reasonable. Despite the Corona restrictions, it was a thoroughly successful lunch at the Retzberghütte. We will be back!

The food is good, the service is friendly. There are changing daily specials. What I did not understand and could no longer clarify on site is a note on the toilet that the toilets are already closed * before * the restaurant is closed due to cleaning work (see photo) - that probably cannot be. Hopefully I misunderstood something.

Always great. Delicious wild bratwurst and wild liver dumplings eaten. I was really excited. The staff is warm and always happy. Again and again.

Great Rasr while hiking or biking. Good food at good prices. Imm again.

Very nice location and good food

Nice restaurant on the lake with many hiking trails around. Food was delicious! The cook has made a small vegetable plate for our little ones to strengthen! Very attentive and friendly staff. Keep it up!
